How do you live your life for God? Are you a spectator and simply let his commands pass you by? Or, do you try and participate by doing and being everything he called you to do and be?

You see we all have the same 24 hours to seek the Lord. We all have to same ability to read the Bible, pray and worship him.

We all have the chance to find out what He has called us to do in life, but do we take the time?

I find very few believers who read their instruction manual of life. The only book that can take away your fears, remove depression and anxiety, heal your physical body and show you how to have fullness of joy.

Instead I hear excuses from too busy, to raising a family, to I can't understand it. But they are all excuses because all of us make time for what is important to us.

What are you going to say when you stand before the Almighty, Powerful, King of the Universe?  When all you have are excuses and all you have been is a simple spectator.

Will you say, "But I went to church every Wednesday and Sunday, I sang in the choir, I kept the nursery and taught one Sunday school class."

What will that feel like? I am just asking not pressuring. For we are only accountable for ourselves.

But, I am here to bring it to your attention. Compare it to how much you watch TV, or, how much you play video games, or, how much you look at your phone, or, how much you read fiction. And make no mistake, just reading your Bible without applying its truths and without spending time in prayer and worship will only attribute to head knowledge.

Jesus wants a personal relationship with you. He wants to give you the keys to His kingdom if you will just ask. He wants you to have peace and joy and freedom.

He wants to set you free from pornography, infidelity, depression, fear, and a troubled marriage. He came to set the captives free.

Are you willing to give up a little time to get to know him better? He is the very best friend you will ever encounter. He will never leave you, talk behind your back, ignore you, hurt your feelings, fire you, or let you try and make it on your own. He is there ALL the time and is just waiting to rescue you from you.

I hope this encourages you to talk to him and just ask him to speak back to you. He will in a still small way.

Don't settle being a spectator any longer, time is getting shorter by the minute and you have a huge part to play in the bigger picture.

Let him in and keep him close. I promise you, it is so worth it, and it will sure be worth it in the end.

Blessings . . .
