The seventh and final Destiny Identifier we will discuss today is Mercy. They are the heart of the body.

30% of the population score Mercy as their first Destiny Identifier.

Mercy – compassionate or kindly forbearance shown toward an offender, an enemy, or other person in one’s power; compassion, pity, or benevolence: an act of kindness and favor

There are more people that score Mercy as their first gift than any of the others. I guess God knew we all need a little more Mercy in our lives.

So in saying that, it is imperative that you understand people with this Destiny Identifier™.

Why, because a lot of people around you walk in this gift. Mercy people feel then act then think.

Mercy people need unrestricted love and acceptance. They show that to others so they like to receive it from you. They are the people that feel the hurts and pains of the world.

They cry with you and laugh with you. Their passion is people, unlike the Perceiver whose passion is projects.

Mercy people tend to look for the good in others and have a tremendous ability to extend love.

They are attracted to people who are hurting or in distress. If you have a child with this gift, they are probably bringing home the most troubled friends because of their desire to help them. Or, they are bringing home all the lost dogs or stray cats.

If they see someone without a friend they will try and befriend them.

They are more concerned for mental or emotional distress than physical. They are the ones who go to the hospital and sit with you for hours. They will inquire about your comfort and make sure you are well taken care of.

They also like to make sure that people have right relationships with each other. They grieve deeply over broken relationships and may even take sides.

They are good at giving preference to others. They will let you on line before them; give you the best seat etc.

They are very careful with their words and actions to avoid hurting others.

They can easily detect insincerity or wrong motives.

They are drawn to others with the same identifier. They hate conflict. They are usually late and don’t like to be rushed in a job or activity.

They are ruled by their heart and not their head and are typically very cheerful to be around.

The Sixth Destiny Identifier we will discuss today is Developer. They are the shoulders of the body.

13% of the population score Developer as their first Destiny Identifier.

Developer – A person, who develops or innovates, manages or has a talent for managing.

Developers have a natural bent towards leadership. However, they will not push to be in charge.

Nearly 70% of CEO's of existing companies score Developer as their top identifier. Entrepreneurs usually score Perceiver as their top identifier.

They are decisive, discreet, patient for the plan, responsible and strive for excellence. They are also very tolerant.

They love to have a plan and typically follow their plan. They more often than the others will set goals for themselves. They are pretty self-disciplined. They like advocacy and concurrence, but not yes men.

They like to organize that which they are responsible for and love a challenge. They have a natural motivation to take raw materials and people and produce something that has never been before.

They have the ability to express ideas and organization very clearly. They see the big picture and know what it takes to get there.

They enjoy working on long range goals and projects and usually have a very broad perspective. They are quite visionary.

They love to delegate tasks and supervise people. They easily facilitate resources and people to accomplish their goals.

They can endure criticism in order to accomplish the ultimate task and typically have tremendous zeal for whatever they are involved in.

They are willing to let others get the credit in order to get the job done. They are constantly writing noted to self. They enjoy working around other people but hate doing repetitive task or anything routine.

They have an uncanny ability to know when old methods are working and when to introduce new one instead. And they thrive on getting things completed as quickly as possible.

As women, they typically do not like housework as their focus tends to be on other projects.

Developers always count the cost before proceeding in anything.

The fifth Destiny Identifier™ we will discuss today is Giver. They are the arms of the body.

Only 6% of the population score Giver first.

This is why so many ministers have to practically beg for money. Giving only comes natural for 6% of us. They will always think or act before they feel. So their giving comes from a practical place not an emotional place like the Mercy identifier.

Giver – to present voluntarily and without expecting compensation; bestow: the quality or state of being resilient; springiness. To give as a present; bequeath.

Givers love to give. They spend their life helping out other people. Where Servers see the needs of a situation, Givers see the material needs of people and try to fill it.

Givers are naturally generous, gracious, grateful, hospitable and resourceful.

They love to oversee people’s financial state and help them know how to manage it better. They are typically by nature frugal people. However, they themselves love to receive presents. This is because that is what they love to give. And their gifts are always of the highest quality.

They try and manage their life and yours as this comes very natural to them and they are usually good at the task.

They give freely of their time, money, love and possessions. They want to be part of organizations and ministries they give to and like to know if the money is going out to help others.

They also like to give anonymously. They do not need the recognition.

They make the best evangelists because they see the need for the salvation of souls. They will intercede faithfully for people until the mission is accomplished.

Givers usually retire with financial dignity. They usually stay on target with their lives and know how to find or create the resources they need to succeed. However, they like to manage everyone so they have to be careful not to become too controlling.

They are great at sending cards or gifts as they look for the likes and dislikes of people.

They are usually good communicators and love to show hospitality in their home. They like to entertain.

They expect others to be responsible and use their money wisely. They typically will look for the best deals, savings or discounts and may even clip coupons even though they have enough money.

They are warm and inviting people and have a way of making you feel special. They do like you to appreciate what they do as they strive to make life better for others.

The fourth Destiny Identifier™ we will discuss today is Exhorter

16% of the population score Exhorter first. They are the mouth of the body.

Exhorter – to give urgent advice, recommendations, or cautions and warnings, to urge, advise, or caution earnestly; admonish urgently. To urge or persuade earnestly; advise strongly

Exhorters are people, people. They love to be around people, doing things with people or for them. They are the life of the party and love to have fun. They are highly creative, enthusiastic and are very persuasive.

They love to encourage others to live up to their full potential. They want everyone to have a full meaningful life. Their greatest joy is being an instrument to help another person live victoriously.

They like interaction with those they teach. They are very observant as they watch for reactions on people’s faces and analyze body language. That is why they make great salespeople and evangelists. The most frustrating thing for an exhorter is to share something of value and then find out the person wasn’t listening or paying attention.

They are great at prescribing steps of action to aid in personal growth.  They know how to instruct a person to get from A to Z in the best possible way.

They like to win with flair and love competition. They are always for the underdog. They make the unpopular feel popular. They are fluent in communication and as children usually talk a lot. Let them as this is their most treasured gift.

Exhorters view trials as personal growth. They also accept people without judging them. They are usually well liked because of their positive attitude. They are masters of reconciliation because they hate strained relationships.

They have great zeal for life and embrace change and spontaneity.  They hardly ever look back on things and are very future oriented. They are great at influencing and like the Teacher love to learn. However their learning is so they can improve themselves and then give you steps on how to improve.

Exhorters spend a considerable amount of time changing themselves to become a better person. They are very transparent people and don’t mind telling you about their hardships if it will help you not have to go through what they did. They expect a lot of self and others. They always complete what they start and make decisions quickly.

They hate conflict and want to clear it up quickly. They also like a sounding board to bounce off their ideas.

Examples of Exhorters are: Ronald Reagan, Joan of Arc, Billy Graham, and Louisa May Alcott

The third Destiny Identifier™ we will discuss is TEACHER.

6% of the population will score Teacher first. They are the mind of the body.

Teacher – a person who teaches or instructs, especially as a profession; instructor

Teacher does not mean that you will be in the profession of Teacher or Professor; however, many are because it is the gift of teaching others.

Teachers are very analytical and detailed. They tend to be very cautious in everything they do especially in making new friends. They usually only have one or two very close friends.

They are very bright and love to learn. They love research and discovering new things, but only if it interest them. Many people with the gift of teaching either go on to get advanced degrees, or, they never earn their degree at all, because they have so many varied interests they cannot focus on just one thing. However, they are the smartest out of all the Destiny Identifiers.

They love word studies and always validate the truth by checking out the facts.They tend to be more objective then subjective.

Teachers can get overwhelmed easily so they are careful about getting involved in too many things.  They tend to like to stay up late and have their alone time. They usually do not like crowds or parties unless they know the people and have an interest in going.

They are usually very respectful people and very loyal. As children, many are not as much into sports as they are music, theatre, acting, or reading a good book.

Teachers are very good at anything related to the computer and people with high teacher and the G-I-F-T personality "T", which we will discuss later, are usually the ones that call themselves, geeks.

They make very loyal mates, however, in this day and age; the men have to be careful not to spend so much time on the computer that they neglect their wife and family. Opposites usually attract, so they usually marry someone who is more outgoing and wants to be with them. They have to learn balance and compromise more than others. All Destiny Identifiers have a code they live by and the Teacher's code is the only one that is about themselves. It pertains to what they are interested in, so they have to be aware of going along with what others want sometimes over their wants.

Teachers are VERY self controlled and remain calm even in the most devastating of times. They are very introspective and usually hold their feelings in, unlike the Perceiver or Exhorter, who make sure they express how they feel. Teachers must learn to let things go and turn off their brains so they can sleep at night. It is harder for them to sleep because of their constant thinking.

They believer that truth itself has the power to produce change. They have very strong opinions and convictions based on their investigation of facts. They out of all theDestiny  Identifiers have a harder time with faith.

The Second Destiny Identifier we will discuss today is SERVER.

17% of the population score this identifier first. They are the hands of the body.

Server – a person in the service of another; an act of helpful activity; help;aid.

Server, like Perceiver's lead with action first. They like their name love to serve others. They love movement and hardly ever stop and sit down.

Where a Perceiver loves to start things, a Server loves to complete things. They wake up every morning with their list of to do's in their head and cannot wait  to write them down, then cross them off the list.

They are very dependable people and have the abilitiy to see a need and then fill it. They are great with their hands and many of them like professions using their hands.

They also like you to be grateful for the work they do for you. A simple thank you goes a long way with a server. However, if married to a Server, it is important that you help with the chores as well. They will usually have a long list of things they need you to get done. Children of servers sually never end up lazy. The Server will make sure of that.

Servers are very attentive, diligent, obedient, orderly, punctual and trustworthy. They are usually at work on time and you rarely have to tell them what to do to get started. They typically are asking you what needs to get done first.

Servers pay attention to detail and like short range goals. They are good at repetitive tasks and have a high energy level. If you are at a party they will be the last ones in the kitchen or room helping the host clean up.

They usually keep everything in meticuloue order and have a good memory. They do have a hard time saying no for requests for help.

They enjoy showing hospitatility and meeting others need before their own. They tend to show you love through their actions more so than their words.

Typically servers do not want to lead others or projects. They rather follow. God made them that way. If leadership is forced on them they get frustrated. They also do not like to be singled out even if you are bragging on them. They rather you come to them one on one and pay the compliment then. But they love supporting others in leadership positions, this is their top priority in life, serving others.

They tend to be perfectionists and cannot stand to be around clutter or messiness. They prefer doing a job over delegating it therefore, they can wear themselves out. Their biggest need is learning to sit down and relax.

Servers make great friends becasue they are always there to help you out. However, they must realize that not everyone was gifted to always be moving and doing things, so just becasue they don't, does not mean they are lazy. remember there are only two action identifiers, but thank goodness a large majority of the population are Servers and Perceivers, or, things might not ever get done on time or even started to begin with.

12% of the population have this Destiny Identifier first. They are like the eyes of the body.

Perceiver – to recognize, discern, envision, or understand: to become aware of, know, or identify by means of the senses.

Individuals with the Destiny Identifier, Perceiver, will always act before they feel or think. They are risk takers and will willingly put themselves on the front line.

There are two Destiny Identifiers that operate out of extreme passion and the first one is Perceiver. Their passion is projects. They naturally get what needs to be done.

Perceivers are highly creative and have the ability to perceive people, situations and other's character. They are inspired speakers. They speak and are heard. They deliver warnings, exhortation, and instruction, judging and making manifest the secrets of the heart.

Perceivers are alert, bold, courageous, discerning, truthful and very integrious. They hate liars and people that try and deceive you. They perceive this in people very quickly.

Perceivers set high standards for themselves and everyone else. They see things as black and white with NO gray. They can identify good and evil very quickly and they tend to HATE evil.

They can boldly operate on spiritual principles and apply them to everyday life. They are very frank and outspoken and do not mince words. They are some of the most effective speakers. You will always pay attention to a perceiver.

They grieve deeply over the downfall of another person. They easily see a person’s blind spots as well as their own, and are eager to help someone see their blind spots so they can change.

They are very introspective and usually give great advice if they are moral. They have an opinion on just about everything and are not afraid to voice it. However, they are usually right about a situation and their advice always carries a ring of truth to it.

They have few friends but you would be wise to find a Perceive friend. They usually have impeccable morals if they are raised the right way and are in tune with God. Why? Because they desire to be obedient at all costs because they recognize the importance of it.

If they are not in tune with God they can be the most strong willed and hardheaded. They will challenge authority and as children if not taught obedience, their Destiny Identifier will remain polluted for the rest of their lives.

Perceivers are your entrepreneurs of the world and are great at starting things but not so good at finishing sometimes. They have to learn this trait. The strength of their personality is what makes them great leaders and many people will follow them if they are bent toward good. If they are not, they can be very caustic with their words and mean spirited.

They are masters of innovation and intuition. Ask a perceiver about a person or situation and you will usually get the right summation of the person or situation.

Perceivers are results-oriented and generally do not hold grudges or unforgiveness. They are honest, pioneering and forward thinking. They love to be in charge and are great at it.

But not knowing or understanding them only creates more conflict.  Miscommunication is inevitable and the fight begins. 

We live life out of our own Destiny Identifiers and G-I-F-T Personality and sometimes have a hard time accepting another person's because it is different than ours, especially if we score low in their identifier. This makes for extreme tension, lack of empathy, and frustration. No wonder marriages fail when people do not even take the time to learn about themselves much less about their mate or significant other.
